ARCH0001 – Career Discovery: Hong Kong Summer Programme

Monday to Friday, 15 July – 2 August 2024, 9:30am – 5:30pm;
Saturday, 3 August 2024, 9:30am – 1:00pm

Application deadline:
31 May 2024  for students not requiring visa
31 March 2024  for students requiring visa
– Applications past 31 March 2024 can still be accepted but we can not guarantee the visa processing time.

Eligibility:
– Grade 10 – 13 students (S4 – S6) in the academic year 2023-24
– Non-architecture major undergraduate students who are considering changing their majors to architectural studies. (Note: this programme is cater towards High School students as their introduction to the study of architecture at the university level.)

Tuition Fee:
HKD$18,900 (including material kit)
– The fee excludes accommodation, meals and transportations

Student Visa:
-All non-local students are required by law to obtain a student visa/entry permit issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department to study this programme.
-Non-local students aged under 18 are required to nominate a HK permanent resident as their authorized guardian. he Department of Architecture will NOT serve as a representative to take up the role of guardian.

Accommodation
Accommodation is not provided and covered by the programme. HKU does not guarantee the allocation of a hostel place due to the number of accommodation is too limited. Successful non-local applicants please be prepared to arrange your own off campus housing.
