Welcome to visit the Homepage of the Chinese Research Institute of Construction Management (CRIOCM).
The Chinese Research Institute of Construction Management (CRIOCM) is a registered non-profit making society under the Hong Kong Societies Ordinance. The Society is registered in the Department of Real Estate and Construction in the University of Hong Kong. The mission of CRIOCM is to play a bridging role in undertaking research and academic activities serving the construction and real estate industries including urban planning and development, construction project feasibility and design, real estate appraisal, construction management and property management between China and the international context, and promote the development of construction and real estate industries.
The Chinese Research Institute of Construction Management has become a well-known and influential research forum in the field of construction management and real estate. The Institute has organized successfully twenty-three research symposiums on the Advancement of Construction Management and Real Estate in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Australia and Malaysia. These events have been providing an important venue for academics and professionals to exchange research findings and practical experience. They have contributed significantly to the promotion of collaboration on construction management and real estate between China and other countries. The Institute has been running the International Journal of Construction Management, published by Taylor & Francis, which has been contributing valuably to the development of both research and practice in its discipline. The Journal has been well received and it has been indexed by ESCI and Scopus.
