Therefore, on the first day, students take time to get to know each other, discover ideas and thoughts about the importance of nature, and learn from their peers. Finally, students explore The University of Hong Kong\u2019s campus by sketching and capturing natural elements surrounding both the old and new buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sharing Session 1: #Hashtag<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students working in pairs respond to the question: Why is nature important to you? From analog to digital techniques, the workshop introduces concepts of composition, perspective, and methods for capturing components of nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/fac.arch.hku.hk\/summer\/hk\/cdla\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/20230724_030739000_iOS.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Exploration 1 &#8211; Capturing nature<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By using the captured close-ups as a starting point, students develop a mixed-media drawing on an A3 panel.
