Peng Rong is research assistant in the Department of Urban Planning and Design at the University of Hong Kong(HKU). She holds a master of Landscape Architecture from HKU and a master of Engineer from Shenzhen University. Her main work is to develop toolkit to dealing with 3D models and simulation. Recently she involves research of airflow simulation in high-density cities, and case study of microclimate and human comfort in suburban area. Before entering in HKU, She worked in Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Science, with main concerns in digital city, computer vision and parallel computing.
