Public Forum on 2013 Long Term Housing Strategy: Building Sustainable Homes?

The Affordable Housing Research Network (AHRN) and the Centre of Urban Studies and Urban Planning (CUSUP) of the Faculty of Architecture, The University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) is organizing the captioned forum. The details are:

Venue: Lecture Theatre T1, Lower Ground 1, Meng Wah Complex, HKU
This forum aims to provide a platform for the government, academics and urban sector professionals and the community to exchange views on the Long Term Housing Strategy Consultation Document recently announced by the government.
It is co-organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, the Hong Kong Institute of Housing, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design.
The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Professor Anthony Cheung will be the First Speaker, followed by Prof Rebecca Chiu, Director, Affordable Housing Research Network and Centre of Urban Studies and Urban Planning, HKU. It will end with a Roundtable Discussion led by representatives of the professional institutes and an open discussion.
