Every year, Clarivate Analytics’ uses Essential Science Indicators (ESI) and ranks so-called 1% scholars. The database adopted for this exercise is Essential Science Indicators (ESI), which uses data from Web of Science indexed journal articles with results presented in 22 subject fields. I was ranked as one of the 1% scholars in 2017!
