On 11 March 2025, iLab attended the HKU Research Postgraduate Symposium and Award Presentation Ceremony. Several members secured prestigious awards:
- Dr. Wu Liupengfei, a Research Assistant Professor and PhD graduate from iLab, was honored with the highly competitive Li Ka Shing Prize, a distinguished award recognizing the most outstanding research students at HKU.
- Mr. Zhang Yi, a second-year PhD student, received the Best Poster Presentation Award.
- Miss Gao Yuchen, a first-year PhD student, was awarded both the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) and the HKU Presidential PhD Scholarship (HKU-PS).
