We won the Hong Kong ICT Award (Bronze Award) and the “Best Use of AI” award in the Smart Mobility category.
The idea is very much from Dr Mike WU (https://scholars.ln.edu.hk/en/persons/mike-wu/), who was the PhD graduate and later a Research Assistant Professor (RAP) at the iLab and is now an assistant professor at Lingnan University (HK). This award entry is to put AI and Internet of Things (IoTs) into an agent, we called it “Agentic AIoTs”, for the cross-border MiC logistics, monitoring its safety, vibration, and coordinating just-in-time delivery.
The innovation is fully implemented in the Tak Tin Street Public Rental Housing (PRH) project developed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HKHA). This is a joint effort from HKU, HKHA, main contractor and sub-contractors. This won’t be possible without the efforts from these organisations, and particularly from Dr Mike Wu, Prof. Anthony Yeh, Dr Sherman Yip, and Prof. Wilson Lu.
