Full House
was started at HKU’s Architecture Studio in Knowles Building in the mid 1990s when a few undergraduate architecture students decided to form a band, and make music a part of their studio life. Members of the band are made up of HKU’s Master of Architecture alumni from different years. They still play music together after graduation.
Their public appearances include the Music in the Green City concert at Hysan Avenue organized by the Hong Kong Architecture Centre in 2007, Annual Ball of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects in 2004, 2000 and 1999, the Pancakes reverie concert series no.5 – Concert for One Second in 2003, the Hang Lung Centre 2002 New Year’s Eve Countdown Party, as well as many other private functions and concerts.



Solomon Fong (M Arch 1998)

Solomon’s passion for design and music has led him to participate in the Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture and Venice Biennale as an exhibitor and curatorial team member. He plays the guitar regularly at bars and performs with the band, and still treasures memories of those late-night music jam sessions in the Architectural Studio in his student days. He is now senior associate at Gravity Partnership.
Ho Wang (M Arch 1997)

Wang loves music and design. He participated in the Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture, and the Venice Biennale as an exhibitor and curatorial team member. He is now an associate at Gravity Partnership.

Janet Chan (M Arch 2003)

Janet is a professional design architect with experience in HK and the UK. She is the vocalist of the group, and plays the keyboard and drums. She also performs at private parties and clubs, and records with local artists.


Cedric Tang ( M Arch 2003)

Cedric works in Hong Kong but specializes in projects on the Mainland. He is currently with TFP Farrells. As guitarist of the group, Cedric particularly loves blues and rock. He is a regular performer at several local clubs and bars.


Clarence Leung (B Arch 1993)
Clarence has been working as architect and project manager. After a three-year posting on the Mainland, Clarence took up the appointment of Head of Project Management at Pheonix Property Investors in Hong Kong October 2009. Clarence plays piano/keyboard and drums and finds time to play his favourite jazz tunes in clubs and bars.


Lawrence Mak (M Arch 1996)

Lawrence is Senior Manager on Planning and Design at the Urban Renewal Authority (URA). He is also a graduate of HKU’s Architectural Conservation Programme. He participated in the 2007 Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture on behalf of the URA. He loves funk and jazz bass.
