Type of Programme: Non-credit-bearing course

Managed by:  Division of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, HKU

Course Description:

In a world where ecological diversity, natural resources, unique cultures, and local communities are increasingly at risk, landscape architecture plays a crucial role in shaping a sustainable future. This dynamic and multidisciplinary field combines ideas from architecture, the arts, urban planning and design, conservation, and the natural sciences to develop innovative solutions that improve the environments we live in.

The Career Discovery in Landscape Architecture (CDLA) programme offers students an exciting introduction to this field through hands-on workshops, site visits, inspiring guest lectures, and collaborative project work. These activities explore the potential of landscape architecture and introduce its tools and techniques, equipping students with the skills and confidence to pursue future careers in creative arts and environmental design.
